Redpath Museum

The Redpath Museum was the first purpose built natural history museum in Canada. It was completed in 1882 and was designed to hold the collections of McGill Principal Sir William Dawson, also a noted geologist. It houses extensive collections in the fields of paleontology, zoology, mineralogy, and world cultures (ethnology), which are open to the public. With its beautiful Victorian interiors, the Redpath Museum offers a unique setting for our Opening Reception and Networking Event.

Thomson House

Completed in 1935, Thomson House is an elegant limestone mansion, located in the center of the McGill campus. It is the home of the Post-Graduate Students’ Society of McGill University. Distinguished by its inviting rooms which feature carved wooden details, moulded plaster ceilings, and ornate fireplaces, Thomson House is an ideal location for this occasion. The House lobby opens up into four stylish lounges served by a distinctive wood paneled bar. The decor and architectural detail create a cozy and welcoming environment.
